 | Chandeliers & Sconces are UL
Approved! — You can
be sure your fixture is safe because all directly wired fixtures by
SilverJack IronWorks are approved by Underwriter’s Laboratories to meet
their standards for electrical safety. That means we must not only use
lighting parts that are manufactured to UL standards, but each finished
piece must also conform to their standard. Each piece must pass a di-electric
test in which we run 1,200 volts through the wiring to make sure there are
no short circuits and UL inspectors randomly visit our workshop to inspect
our methods and records. We provide a packet that includes a canopy,
mounting hardware, our UL number, and our address and phone number. |
 | You Specify Chain Length!
— If not otherwise indicated,
chandeliers come with 6 ft. of chain and 7 ft. of wire. We’ll ask you for
the exact lengths you’ll need when you place an order. There may be an
extra charge for additional chain and wire. |
 | Up To 60 Watt Bulbs!
— Most of our chandeliers feature
candelabra-style light sockets (small bases) for which you can buy a variety
of wattages up to a maximum of 60 watts. Large Edison-style light sockets
are available on larger chandeliers. |

 | How to order –

 | Turnaround
— Orders are completed on a first-come, first-served basis and
are scheduled based on how long it takes to build each order. Please call for
our current turnaround. Note that the turnaround for models with a rawhide dome
will take approx. 8 weeks to complete at the present time. You will be given a current order completion date when
you place an order. We strive to complete your order as soon as possible. |
 | Rush
Service — We also offer a rush service
for an additional 25 percent on the item price. Rush service means that you are
placed at the head of the list and the item will ship as soon as we get the
materials in (if we don't already have them in stock) and as soon as the item is
completed. We can't guarantee the delivery time by UPS or by freight truck.
Often their guaranteed delivery services are much more expensive than the prices
we've given next to each item. We can get you a quote upon request. |
 | Deposit
Required —
We require payment in full prior to shipping any order. We require a 50 percent
deposit to place an order. If you order a standard item, we will refund one-half
of your deposit if you cancel your order. If you order a custom design, the
deposit is not refundable if you decide to cancel. The balance on any order is
due prior to shipping. We accept Master card, Visa, personal
or business checks, money orders, or certified checks. We require a 100 percent
deposit if paying with non-certified funds and have a two-week waiting period
for bank clearance. |
 | Packing
& Shipping —
We have easy-to-use packing and shipping prices to any location within the
continental United States. The packing and shipping price is listed next to each
piece on the price sheet. If you are ordering more than one piece, the
packing and shipping price is often much less – please ask for a quote.

Satisfaction Guarantee —
If you aren’t completely satisfied with your design from SilverJack IronWorks,
we’ll replace it if it gets damaged, exchange it if it’s not right, or
refund your money! You are responsible for the actual cost of packing and
shipping on exchanges and returns, but not on damages (see "guaranteed
delivery" below). Please note that the ACTUAL COST of packing and shipping
is usually more than what we charge for the initial shipment. Please save the
carton or crate we send just in case! We will refund your money when we receive
the returned item. |
 | We
Guarantee Delivery —
We ship F.O.B. Your Destination for shipments within the continental U.S.
That means we take responsibility for your shipment until it is actually
delivered to your door. If the freight company damages your shipment, we
will have it returned, take care of the claim, and get you a new piece as
soon as possible. Please save the carton or crate we send just in case! Any
damage should be noted on the delivery receipt to help expedite the return. |
